In Loving Memory of Jonathan Howard Kamp

(1979-2007)

To Whom It May Concern:

In 2007, there were 890 deaths in the state of Florida attributed to drunk driving. 890people lost their lives due to the recklessness of someone else who chose to drink and thendrive. One of those people was 28 year old Johnny, who was moving from one house toanother when a drunk driver collided with his pickup, killing him instantly. Johnny’s mother, sisters, friends and family are left without him because of another person’s terrible choice.

Mothers Against Drunk Driving, Central Florida would like to initiate a project of change. MADD continuously offers services to families in need, such as Johnny’s. We also support law enforcement and work to prevent underage drinking in our communities. To do this we rely on donations from the community. We would like to make March-May a time of change; therefore we are starting our THINK CHANGE project. We are asking each of you to take one of our donation jars and strive to raise at least $8.90. Why $8.90? Because 890 people in Florida lost their lives to drunk driving. Hopefully, as the $8.90 is raised, people will think about the change we can provide for the Central Florida community through both drinking and driving and underage drinking prevention, as well as law enforcement support.

We would like to thank you for help in continuing the fight against drunk driving and underage drinking.

Sincerely,

Kelli Davis
